Leasa Lepine
Leasa coaches with her two daughters, Anna-Marie and Kathleen. She has coached a variety of sports for over 20 years with softball and volleyball being her favourites. Leasa’s volleyball coaching has included athletes from 13U all the way to 18U, at both the school and club level. Her expectations are simple: show up with a positive attitude, give 100% all the time, be a team player, and demonstrate respect and sportsmanship to coaches, referees, teammates, parents, and opponents. Her goal is to develop players both physically and mentally through the game of volleyball, and to transfer their learning into real life.
Amanda Dick
Amanda has been coaching volleyball for over 15 years, including both girls and boys teams from Atomic (Grade 5) through post-secondary, as well as coaching in a variety of other sports.
She believes that coaching sport is more than just teaching athletic skill execution, it is an opportunity to help the leaders of tomorrow develop the characteristics that will help them succeed long after they walk off the court. As a coach, she is competitive, but believes that we are missing the goal of competition if we fail to try and build those intangible elements into the athletes entrusted to our care.
